We're looking for a growth-driven, pipeline-focused Director International Field Marketing & Events to manage our team of 5 experienced Field Marketing Managers and 3 Event Managers across Europe and guide them driving brand awareness, growth, and retention in their regions to continue our strong growth path. This role requires a deep understanding of International Marketing, events, leadership, a passion for results, and strong collaboration and coordination skills. The successful candidate (m/f/d) has experience in leading regional and Partner Marketing and teams, coordinating initiatives with relevant stakeholders and partnering with both the direct sales and partnership teams. We’d like to work with someone who can build relationships cross-functionally, understands the business quickly, and is a team player, strategist and problem solver.
This role can be based fully remote from Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, Portugal, Netherlands, France or come work with us as a Hybrid option n our HQ in Cologne, our offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris or Lisbon or at our co-working locations in Dublin, Munich, London or Chemnitz.
Your mission
Manage and develop the existing team of experienced Field Marketing and Event Managers and coordinate brand awareness and lead gen campaigns on an international scope
Refine and expand our impactful regional and channel marketing strategy and lead your team towards an execution plan that builds brand awareness while also generating and accelerating pipeline for our focus regions
Experience building and executing to and through partner strategies including recruitment, enablement and demand generation (building demand gen programs and bespoke activities). Experience with MDF allocation
Steer the team towards developing and executing a broad range of integrated marketing programs including events, brand, vertical, and account-based marketing campaigns to support regional sales objectives. This will include adaptions of global campaigns & the creation of campaigns
Work very closely together with the regional Sales/SDR VPs and Directors as well as Sales enablement and RevOps to set the right priorities for the respective regions according to the market needs. Use this to enable sales teams to follow-up MQLs in a relevant and timely manner, ensuring alignment between outbound sales and inbound marketing efforts.
Partnering with the corporate communication and product marketing teams to develop integrated plans in the regions in line with the global strategy. You ensure that we are telling the SoSafe story in a consistent voice across all regions
Streamline tasks and responsibilities between your team and our central marketing functions (e.g. brand, growth marketing, content marketing, and product marketing) and collaborating to agree on priorities for the region
Forecasting, measuring, analyzing and reporting campaign results to drive continuous improvement to ensure efficiency of the team and seeking to generate new global best practices through experimental efforts as well as new actions plans, leveraging the learnings to drive better lead generation conversion
Your profile
5+ years B2B experience delivering and accelerating sales pipeline through field marketing/ events
3+ years in Leadership positions and ability to create, articulate and execute strategy and priorities with leadership, sales and wider marketing team as well as managing inter-team collaboration
Robust understanding of marketing to technology decision-makers incl. track record of successfully entering new markets
Experience partnering with the direct sales team and partnership teams, ensuring optimal pipeline coverage, acceleration, and alignment
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated capabilities in campaign measurement, analyzing and interpreting data
Experienced with sales and marketing automation, such as HubSpot and Salesforce
Outstanding English written communication and presentation skills (another EU language is a bonus)
