This role is pivotal in protecting the organization’s assets, reputation, and financial stability. Collaborating closely with various departments, the Risk Management Specialist contributes to the development and execution of risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role demands strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication of risk-related information to key stakeholders.The Details: This is a virtual, work-from-home opportunityIn this role, you will be responsible for:• Assisting Internal Audit leadership in formulating and executing strategies and processes for identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities across the organization• Conducting regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management controls and processes and recommending improvements as needed• Working with cross functional teams to establish best practices in risk management and integrating them into business operations• Interpreting complex data to identify patterns, trends, and potential areas of concern• Creating and maintaining risk registers, assessment reports, and other documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of identified risks and mitigation efforts• Staying informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in risk management. Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations• Collaborating with external stakeholders, including insurers, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
