Sourcing Analyst (m/f/d)

Position Summary:

The Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for providing the US region with clear cost control and management of all sourcing costs. This includes analysis and coordination of various budgets, forecasts, and supplier claim recovery.


Responsibilities:

  • Forecast Cost Management (Cost variation, tracking, and targets definition)
  • Coordinate the Sourcing claims process with the Sourcing team and ensure claims are completed.
  • Financial and Commercial KPI management for the Sourcing department
  • Business Plan creation and management for actual, planned, variations and targets.
  • Price Study spreadsheets with scenario simulations, internal negotiation, and external support
  • Management reports: Trends, FX Rate, Duties/Taxes, Bunkers, Steel index, Claims
  • Create general reports for sourcing board reviews.
  • Support Risks and Opportunities tracking with department stakeholders.
  • Support department instruction and training documentation creation and updates
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • None

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Procurement, Business Management, or Finance is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in services and component sourcing is preferred.
  • Budgeting and cost control management experience preferred.
  • High level of understanding of Microsoft systems; including Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint,
  • Strong communication skills with all levels in an organization
  • Ability to analyze data and predict outcomes.
  • Experience in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to travel to domestic and international locations to project sites and on business as required with the ability to obtain a passport (<10% travel).
