Investment Solutions Coordinator

South Carolina Financial Solutions (subsidiary of South Carolina Federal Credit Union) is currently seeking a Full- Time Investment Solutions Coordinator to join our team of outstanding professionals in the Charleston Metro Area.Duties include but are not limited to:• Provide high quality service to existing members/clients and provide administrative and operational support.• Manage investment referral program to include but not limited to:• Coordinating Retail Sales promotions/contests• Coordinating Investment education initiatives• Monitor and review all submitted referrals• Responsible for proper allocation of qualified referrals• Support the production of the Financial Advisor by servicing the needs of clients, as well as performing tasks of a clerical and/or administrative nature to include:• Manage Investment Solutions Department and Financial Advisor calendars• Maintain accurate client contact records• Assist with required minimum distributions (RMDs) as needed• Assist with Back to Reps (BTRs) as needed• Build and maintain relationship with Retail Sales and all Line of Business Partners.• Support production levels of Investment Advisors through relationship building discussions.• Ensure preparation and timely distribution of various Investment Solutions reports monthly or as needed.• Assist with opening SC Federal IRA accounts as needed and maintain a strong working knowledge of IRA processes and regulations.• Advise clients as to the status of orders, applications, and pending contracts as needed.• Maintain NASD Compliant filing system with all records that are generated when investments are traded.• Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of Investment CRM.• Responsible for design and construction of monthly Investment Solutions Newsletter.• Serve as Investment Solutions intranet administrator and manage applicable content on The Point.• Responsible for retrieval and distribution of the department's interoffice mail.• Provide support to team and serve as backup to Investment Solutions Sales Assistant as needed.• Communicate with clients in a positive manner both in person and/or by telephone.Minimum requirements include:• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).• Possess a minimum of one year similar or related experience performing administrative or coordinator type duties.• Demonstrated ability to successfully perform duties with a high degree of accuracy and speed.• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with members and employees in person and by telephone/email.• Possess advance proficiency working with Windows based programs and Microsoft Office applications, to include adept experience working directly with Excel and Outlook.• Possess the ability to quickly learn new system programs and applications.• Possess direct work experience working with office equipment such as a printer, copier, scanner, fax, telephone, etc.• Possess the ability to quickly learn new system programs and applications.• Possess direct work experience taking initiative without being prompted with little supervision.• Possess interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.• Possess time management and organizational skills.• Possess intermediate mathematical skills performing calculations involving adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.NOTE: Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service men and women.South Carolina Federal Credit Union is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
