Build Reliability Engineer, Avionics (Starship)

SpaceX is seeking a Build Reliability Engineer with a strong background in avionics hardware to join the inclusive and interdisciplinary team committed to reliability. The role involves collaborating with core groups, analyzing data for reliability improvements, and ensuring product quality.

Responsibilities

Partner with electrical design and manufacturing teams for product reliability enhancements
Prototype early development hardware to identify design limitations
Identify and address opportunities for risk reduction in designs and processes
Monitor product yield rate and drive corrective actions
Conduct PCBA test failure investigations and root cause analysis
Support continuous improvement on the shop floor

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
