COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER, CUSTOMER SUCCESS (STARLINK)Starlink is the world's largest satellite constellation, providing fast, reliable internet to 2.5M+ users worldwide. We design, build, test, and operate all parts of the system - thousands of satellites and consumer hardware that allows people to connect within minutes of unboxing, and the software that brings it all together. We've only begun to scratch the surface of Starlink's potential global impact and are seeking a talented, self-driven individual for a position as a Communications Manager, Customer Success. As a key member of the Starlink team, the Communications Manager, Customer Success is responsible for the development and implementation of external communication strategies with the goal of educating, supporting, and creating value for customers. This role will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and transform enterprise knowledge into content and communication that creates value for Starlink customers. To be a successful candidate, you'll need to develop a deep understanding of the Starlink products, services, and features, and be a strategic thought leader with a can-do attitude. You are a natural verbal and written communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no problem is too great and no detail too small.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, implement, and manage the strategy for Starlink Customer Success communicationsDevise and drive the organization-wide approach to customer communications that includes the technology, process, and programs needed to achieve world-class communicationsServe as the communications point of contact for internal stakeholders and partnersCreate actionable feedback loops and strong data-driven approaches to support continuous improvement of communicationsUtilizes our analytics to evaluate communications, including relevance, efficiency, quality, and thoroughnessProvide expert communications counsel, drive consensus, and articulate recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executivesCollaborate effectively and drive alignment and execution with cross-functional teams (business, human resources, legal, marketing & communication, and engineering)Manage complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challengesContinually advocate on behalf of customersBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree5+ years of professional experience in communications or public relationsPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Excellent awareness of the business environment and ability to react quickly to protect business interestsExceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts and issues into crisp and user-friendly communicationsExperience with social media strategies and tacticsEstablished skills in strategic and critical thinking, decision-making, negotiation, and relationship-buildingAbility to quickly grasp and synthesize complex issuesAbility to exercise high judgment, particularly in narrow time framesSelf-driven with the ability to be both strategic and stay on top of tactical executionExcellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects in parallelDemonstrated strategist with keen creative instincts and expertise influencing leadership thinking in strategic communication and issues managementADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be willing to work in office five days per weekMust be available to work extended hours and weekends, as neededWillingness to travel to other SpaceX locations and events, as needed#J-18808-LjbffrOriginal job Communications Manager/ Customer Success /Starlink/ posted on GrabJobs ©.
