Electrical Design Engineer (Starlink)

SpaceX is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join the Starlink team, responsible for designing highly reliable electronics for communicating with satellites. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance hardware for the global satellite constellation.

Skills

Experience in designing circuits and electronic products
Mixed-signal circuit board design experience
Testing, troubleshooting, and debugging electronics
Strong programming and computer skills
Cross-functional collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test electronics for satellite communication
Evaluate third-party electrical and design integration solutions for Starlink
Collaborate with various teams for hardware development and testing
Drive system trades, component selection, analysis, and prototyping
Support hardware through production, integration, and flight

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics
Master’s degree in relevant field (preferred)
