Launch Automation & Controls Engineer (Starship)

SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to enable human life on Mars. They are looking for a Launch Automation & Controls Engineer to work on the Starship spacecraft and Super Heavy rocket.

Skills

PLC programming
Electrical schematic CAD experience
Mechanical CAD experience
Knowledge of NEC and UL codes
Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Design, integrate, and commission control systems for Starship Launch pads
Design industrial electrical control panels compliant with NFPA79/NEC/UL508A
Write and debug PLC code
Commission devices using various industrial communication protocols
Manage electrical cabinet builds and field wiring

Education

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
