Mechanical Engineer, Launch Pad (Starship)

SpaceX is actively developing technology to enable human life on Mars. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for their Starship program.

Skills

  • 1+ years of experience with CAD and FEA software packages
  • Experience with mechanical or fluid systems design and analysis
  • Demonstrated understanding of GD&T
  • Solid understanding of structural analysis and failure modes of complex mechanical systems and weldments

Responsibilities

  • Drive hardware development for systems within the Starship tower and launch mount
  • Own design and manufacturing of mechanisms, actuation systems, fluid systems, and large structures
  • Collaborate with engineers designing the Starship and Super Heavy vehicles

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
