Mechanical Engineer, Launch Pad (Starship)

SpaceX is actively developing technology to enable human life on Mars. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for their Starship program.

Skills

1+ years of experience with CAD and FEA software packages
Experience with mechanical or fluid systems design and analysis
Demonstrated understanding of GD&T
Solid understanding of structural analysis and failure modes of complex mechanical systems and weldments

Responsibilities

Drive hardware development for systems within the Starship tower and launch mount
Own design and manufacturing of mechanisms, actuation systems, fluid systems, and large structures
Collaborate with engineers designing the Starship and Super Heavy vehicles

Education

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
