Precision Inspector (Machining)

SpaceX is actively developing the technologies for human life exploration on Mars. They are looking for a Precision Inspector with experience in quality inspection for aerospace parts.

Skills

Quality inspection experience
Understanding of ISO 9001/AS9100
DCC CMM experience
Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office
Thorough understanding of layout inspection tools

Responsibilities

Complete surface plate work/inspection of machined aerospace parts
Inspect supplied product according to applicable drawing specifications
Perform complex inspections following standardized methods
Document non-conformances in prescribed procedures
Support quality management system policies and procedure documentation

Education

High school diploma or equivalency certificate
