Propulsion Engineer (Falcon Vehicle Operations)

SpaceX is seeking a Propulsion Engineer for Falcon Vehicle Operations to ensure the reliability and rapid delivery of Falcon and its payloads. This role involves overseeing propulsion systems and working in collaboration with multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Take sole responsibility for Falcon stage’s success through test and launch
Maintain comprehensive understanding of all stage propulsion systems
Define, implement, and validate checkouts and system requirements
Represent stage propulsion systems during test and launch operations live on-console
Lead anomaly investigations and drive investigations to resolution
Solve undefined multi-disciplinary problems
Develop software tools to improve mission workflow efficiency

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace/aeronautical, physics, or chemical engineering
