Software Engineer II (Nondestructive Evaluation)

SpaceX is seeking adaptable and driven software engineers to develop tools that enhance the manufacturing processes for their ambitious space exploration goals. The team will work on in-process monitoring solutions for diverse production programs.

Full stack development
Programming in Python, C++
Application deployment with Docker/Kubernetes
Web development frameworks
Stream data processing
Database management

Responsibilities

Develop and own process monitoring software
Design software to connect hardware and tooling to monitoring systems
Work with data pipelines for web application interfaces
Collaborate with simulation and machine learning experts
Identify and create efficient solutions for user problems
Engage with production engineers for first principles solutions
Lead design reviews and provide feedback on code

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline
2+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
