Sr. Aerodynamics Engineer (Starship)

SpaceX is looking for a Senior Aerodynamics Engineer to join the Starship team. The role involves predicting aerodynamic environments and supporting vehicle structures during design efforts.

Skills

Aerodynamic analysis
CFD modeling
Programming in Java, MATLAB, or Python

Responsibilities

Prepare, mesh, run, and post process CFD models
Review post-flight data and compare to pre-flight estimates
Interface with responsible engineers to ensure understanding of physical phenomena
Write code and scripts for automated workflows

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering
Master's or PhD preferred
