Sr. Customs Operations Specialist (Starlink)

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Customs Operations Specialist responsible for developing and maintaining a compliant customs import program.

Skills

Knowledge of U.S. Customs Regulations and Harmonized Tariff Schedule
Experience with U.S. Foreign Trade Zones program
Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Effective communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

Manage daily import activities including interactions with customs brokers, vendors, and freight forwarders
Determine import and export classifications, including harmonized tariff configurations
Monitor Foreign Trade Zones operations and reconcile inventory records
Support duty drawback claims and maintain customs entry record keeping

Education

Bachelor's degree OR 8+ years of experience working with U.S. Customs or international trade agencies
