Sr. Electrical Engineer (Instrumentation and Controls)
SpaceX is actively developing technologies to enable human life on Mars. Seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer for instrumentation and control systems.
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for commercial space industry and human spaceflight
- Ability to work in high-paced environment
- Knowledge of high-reliability processes and documentation
- Experience with data acquisition and control hardware
Responsibilities
- Maintain operational capability of electrical systems
- Develop and upgrade data acquisition and control systems
- Create new automation systems for avionics and engine testing
- Provide technical support and guidance for control technicians
- Analyze data to assess system function and health
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in physics, electrical engineering, or computer engineering
