SR. IC Package Design Engineer (Silicon Engineering)

SpaceX is seeking a Senior IC Package Design Engineer for silicon engineering to contribute to developing technologies for satellite broadband connectivity.

Skills

IC package design experience
Signal and power integrity fundamentals
Proficiency in Cadence APD+/SIP design tools
SI/PI analysis experience
Familiarity with BGA package substrate technologies

Responsibilities

Own and drive advanced package selection
Responsible for package/SIP layout and design verification
Interface with cross-functional groups for package selection and feasibility analysis
Simulate and optimize signal/power integrity of package design
Drive innovation and productivity improvements in package design

Education

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or physics
