Sr. IT Network Engineer

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. IT Network Engineer to support our network infrastructure as we develop technologies for space exploration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in networking technologies.

Skills

Expertise in networking technologies
Knowledge of routing and switching
Dynamic multicast skills
Wi-Fi configuration
Network automation expertise

Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of wireless networks
Configure, install, and support campus and data center networks
Troubleshoot networking issues
Support the deployment of network access control (NAC)
Develop and enforce network policies
Plan project roadmaps
Develop network automation tools
Monitor network health
Maintain network documentation

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related STEM discipline
7+ years of network engineering experience in lieu of a degree
