Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, Materials Engineering User Terminals (Starlink)

SpaceX is actively developing technologies to enable human life on Mars. They are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for Precision Machining to lead projects related to plastic injection molding and high pressure die casting for Starlink hardware.

Skills

6+ years of experience in high precision machining
Strong to expert level 3D CAD skills
Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing

Responsibilities

Lead project development for plastic injection molding and high pressure die casting tooling manufacturing processes
Collaborate with design engineering, production teams, and suppliers
Manage strategy for CapX, staffing, and equipment specification
Develop and manage engineering capacity and project plans

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, materials engineering, or other engineering discipline
