Sr. Propulsion Engineer (Merlin Thrust Chamber)

SpaceX is looking for a Sr. Propulsion Engineer to lead the design and production of Merlin Thrust Chamber Assemblies, ensuring rapid production and maximum reliability of Merlin engines.

Skills

Strong technical knowledge in hardware or propulsion system development.
Experience with CAD design and relevant analysis techniques.
Understanding of thermodynamics and material science.

Responsibilities

Support build, test, and flight of Merlin Thrust Chamber Assemblies.
Work with manufacturing engineers for correct and efficient manufacturing.
Generate CAD models and drawings for TCA.
Perform and review structural and fluid analyses on TCA components.
Lead design and process improvements for M1D and MVacD TCA.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Master’s degree in engineering preferred.
