Welder - job 2 of 3

SpaceX is looking for welders to support their rocket vehicle testing in McGregor, TX. Candidates will work with an elite team to build and weld large assemblies.

Skills

Experience with welding processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Knowledge of safety precautions in welding
Skill in using precision measuring instruments

Responsibilities

Perform various welding processes such as FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW
Weld different materials including carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
Collaborate with management and engineering staff for efficiency
Analyze engineering drawings for planning welding operations
Handle hazardous materials safely
Ensure quality and completeness of welding operations

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
