About The Role
- Ensures timely and accurate posting of cash receipts
- Researches unidentified cash receipts and outstanding balance.
- Provides accurate records of Aging Reports and other financial documentation
What You'll Do
- Process high volume of cash receipts received in US, Canada and Mexico bank accounts by Checks, ACH and Wires in an accurate and timely manner
- Process Intercompany, multi-payor and mixed currency payments
- Responsible for reversing and reallocating payments, write-offs, wire-fees and refunds
- Audit all daily cash receipt batches for posting accuracy
- Review/research any unidentified cash receipts to apply payment
- Assist Accounting with reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger
- Meet daily service level agreement for requests within accounts receivable
- Adhere to internal controls and compliances within FTI (SOX)
- Communicate and correspond with internal and external clients
- Maintain accounts receivable files and records
- Assist with other projects as needed

What You Will Need To Succeed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 3 years of progressive accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency work with business applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Digital File.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Associates degree or higher in Accounting or related field
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, standard accounts receivable policies, procedures and regulations
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Elite or Unit 4 a plus
- Previous experience working within a law firm, banking or service environment a plus
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team to meet departmental objectives
