Job Summary
Commercialization is the process by which a new product, service or capability is introduced into market. The goal of commercialization is to drive optimal brand and/or customer adoption. Commercialization provides the path to ensure that expected value is returned back to the business. Activities to support commercialization start very early in the development process and are referred as pre-commercialization activities. These pre-commercialization activities are the roadmap to a successful launch into market. The Commercialization Specialist works directly with product and capabilities owners by assisting with cross team support to coordinate the commercialization process. The Commercialization Specialist supports both new and existing products and capabilities. The role provides a single point person for the management and execute of the all pre-commercialization and commercialization activities.
Job Description
Essential Job Functions
Relationship Management- Develop and maintain strong working relationships through continuous and proactive communications. Guide the P&C team through the commercialization process including process expectations, next steps and timelines. Assist in ensuring all leaders are using the appropriate tools and stage gates defined within the commercialization process. Provide communication regarding the commercialization process to individuals inside and outside Products and Capabilities as needed. Facilitate cross-functional relationships with Products and Capabilities Owners, Client Partnership, Marketing Technologist, EPMO, Enterprise Services, Capabilities Analytics etc. to support commercialization activities
Process Improvement- Assist in development of a process for end-to-end execution of commercialization for new products and capabilities, including the ongoing governance and maturity models.
Documentation- Properly document, store, and maintain all materials for and related to projects within the commercialization process. Ensure project level tracking for various lifecycle stages across the team and/or business as applicable. Associate training and education. Internal and external documentation creation

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements: Normal office environment. Some travel required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, IT, Communications
Two or more years experience with Process Improvement & Quality Assurance processes, functions or certifications in a related business environment (e.g. Credit Card Industry, Finance, Banking, etc.)

Preferred Experience:
Three or more years experience with Process Improvement & Quality Assurance processes, functions or certifications in a related business environment (e.g. Credit Card Industry, Finance, Banking, etc.)

Typical Starting Range:
$60,600.00 - $109,900.00
Full Salary Range for position:
California:$69,600.00 - $137,500.00
Colorado:$60,600.00 - $115,400.00
New York:$66,700.00 - $137,500.00
Washington:$63,700.00 - $126,200.00
The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safety Time per calendar year at the beginning of each year and is prorated in the associate’s first year of employment.
Hired associates will be able to elect to purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
