Responsibilities:
We currently have a great opportunity available for a Project Specialist I. The Project Specialist I position plays a critical role in coordinating efforts both internally and with direct customer contact. This position is responsible for ensuring that all scheduling activities pertaining to executing streamlined customer integration process (customer training, site readiness, installation and implementation) are coordinated to maximize revenue and resources. This objective will be achieved by balancing multiple dynamics and potentially conflicting elements including cycle time management, capacity planning, technical challenges and productivity. Project Specialist I proactively monitors schedules to planned due dates to minimize bottlenecks and ensure work is performed within available capacity. Recognizes and considers business objectives and takes action to positively impact them. This position will report through Implementation Services, but will regularly interface directly with the Customer, Sales, Field Service, Applications, Customer Service, Customer Training and Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Be the Single Voice to the customer in all aspects of the implementation process and to inform all the necessary internal resources. In this role, the incumbent will keep in contact with the customer regarding updates and to inquire about customer readiness as the installation date approaches.

Manage and drive the coordination of related schedules needed to align in order to achieve revenue capture through the integration process (customer training, installation, and implementation). Proactively ensure that issues relating to delayed integrations are communicated and possible resolutions are explored. Acts as the primary liaison between internal customers responsible for executing the integration process and to the customer site to keep them informed.

Provide oversight and interface with cross-functional schedules outside of Implementation Services to influence and maximize revenue recognition and meeting customer expectations. Resolve conflicting priorities that may impact ability to complete integration and capture revenue in desired timeframe.

Directly oversee Applications resource schedules, suggest alternatives, and coordinate schedule updates to maximize productivity and revenue capture, support regional alignment, and identify/recommend process improvements. Work closely with Applications management to develop and manage CAS self-directed scheduling and elevate when established criteria are not meeting business objectives

Provide integration communications to internal stakeholders (Sales, Service, Applications, Training and Support) to facilitate consistency in timeline understanding and customer messaging.

Participate in cross functional teams to explore process improvement initiatives, measure results, and refine processes to achieve business objectives. Must work closely with other commercial functions to address business obstacles and be easy to do business with externally. Responsible for identifying and communicating critical gaps, participating in the development and execution of effective resolutions.

Track and report key performance indicators/metrics as defined or necessary.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with key Sysmex associates in other functional areas (especially Sales, Service, Applications and Customer Training) to drive and support reduced cycle times to meet business and customer needs.

Provide input into SAP or other tool(s) as required to coordinate integration activities to achieve minimum time between order receipt and implementation, capture relevant metrics to measure and manage business processes, and streamline process delivery.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, 1-3 years of relevant work experience required.

Strong written, oral, and persuasive communications skills required.

Fluent in English, other languages a plus

All MS office products and Windows application skills essential

In addition, they must have strong time management and organizational skills. The incumbent must have influence management ability. Professional conduct necessary at all times even under stressful conditions.

Strong interpersonal and team competencies with the ability to prioritize workload. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail essential.
