Accountant III - Joint Ventures and Purchase Accounting

Specialty1 Partners is seeking an experienced Accountant III to manage accounting for joint ventures and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards and assist in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate records for joint ventures
Ensure proper accounting treatment for joint venture investments
Analyze financial statements from joint venture entities
Collaborate with joint venture partners
Manage the purchase accounting process
Analyze acquisition agreements
Ensure compliance with ASC 805
Prepare and review financial statements
Assist in the preparation of management reports
Perform variance analysis
Ensure compliance with internal controls
Coordinate with auditors
Stay updated on accounting standards
Support integration for newly acquired entities
Provide guidance to junior accounting staff

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
