Dental Assistant

Bay Area Endodontics is seeking a talented Dental Assistant to provide world-class specialty experiences for patients. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent patient service and assist the dentist in various tasks.

Skills

Knowledge of dental instruments
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

Ensure excellent patient service
Prepare patients for treatment
Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments and post op visits
Maintain accurate patient records
Assist with payment procedures

Education

High school diploma
Certification from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law)
Active state radiology license (if required by law)
