Marketing Technology Manager

LOCATION: Hybrid in Boulder, Colorado (3 days per week in office - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)

JOB TYPE: Full Time, Exempt

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Technology Manager to oversee and optimize our marketing tech stack, streamline integrations, and enhance our marketing automation capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of digital marketing, and the ability to align technology solutions with marketing strategies to drive growth and improve efficiency. This role is key to optimizing Spectra Logic’s digital marketing efforts and maximizing the impact of our marketing operations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 

 Technology Management: 

  • Oversee the configuration, integration, and maintenance of the marketing technology stack, including CRM, marketing automation (MS Dynamics 365), email marketing, analytics tools, and content management systems (Highspot)
  • Evaluate and implement new marketing technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and improve lead generation and nurturing efforts.
  • Ensure data consistency and connectivity across marketing platforms, enabling seamless data flow between systems.

Sales Enablement

  • Optimize CRM integrations and workflows to provide the sales team with real-time, actionable insights on leads and opportunities.
  • Utilize Highspot to organize and distribute sales enablement content, ensuring sales reps can quickly access the most relevant and up-to-date materials.
  • Align content and campaigns with sales objectives, delivering targeted assets that support each stage of the buyer’s journey.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create data-driven presentations and tools that resonate with customer needs and product benefits.
  • Maintain data accuracy across platforms, enabling efficient lead tracking, reporting, and performance analytics.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance sales enablement processes to improve sales productivity, enhance customer interactions, and drive revenue growth.

Marketing Automation & Campaign Support:

  • Manage and optimize the use of marketing automation platforms to drive campaigns, nurture leads, and segment audiences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement campaigns that align with customer journeys and optimize touchpoints across channels.
  • Develop workflows, triggers, and scoring models that improve lead quality and support the sales funnel.

 Data Analysis & Reporting: 

  • Track, measure, and analyze the performance of marketing technologies and campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Create dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs, data quality, and the impact of marketing programs on lead generation and revenue.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing technology stack.

 Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Partner with marketing, sales, and IT teams to ensure marketing technology solutions align with organizational goals.
  • Provide training and support to marketing team members, ensuring best practices are followed and knowledge of marketing technology is continuously updated.
  • Act as the liaison between marketing and technology teams to troubleshoot issues, gather requirements, and implement solutions.

Compliance & Data Privacy: 

  • Ensure marketing technologies comply with data privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Implement data governance practices to maintain data accuracy, privacy, and security.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in managing marketing technologies, with a strong focus on marketing automation, CRM management, and digital analytics.
  • Experience with MS Dynamics strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in marketing automation tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems required.
  • Experience with Highspot, Visitor Queue, Tech Target Priority Engine, SnapEngage a huge plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Technical proficiency, with knowledge of integrations, API configurations, and data flows.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and customer journey optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices in data governance.

 

COMPENSATION: 

Base salary range: $85,000 - $105,000. While this salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, a candidate’s actual salary will be competitive based on factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
