Position: Senior Business Analyst – East Windsor, NJ

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for working with the business and technical SMEs in discovery, modeling, documentation and management of data and business systems requirements. The analyst will be the responsible for serving as the liaison between the business team and the technical team in translating complex business information needs to application software.

• Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with The US healthcare client and Health IT projects
• Understanding into HEDIS / NCQA / Meaningful uses / CMS (Medicare Medicaid systems) / Quality Measures and HIPAA policies
• Work with business stakeholders and decision makers to gather and define business and functional requirements, and technical specification.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and UI/UX requirements for the product
• Create detailed documentation of features and functions
• Define processes and workflows to improve product development activities
• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
• Collaborate in the planning and design of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications
• Conduct internal and client UAT sessions before release
• Support product implementation team and define scope for implementation project

Required Skills: (Define the mandatory & preferred technical skill set)

• Business Analysis
• Data Analysis / EDI Data Validation is preferred
• Technical Documentation and Specification document
• Knowledge of SQL, ETL and interface technologies
• Experience with defining test cases and test scripts
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while simultaneously managing multiple assignments
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and non-technical terms

• Understanding different Quality measures (ECQM / HEDIS / HCPCS/DSRIP / MIPS etc)
• Bachelor in Engineering or 4-year degree, graduate degree a plus
• Knowledge of clinical systems and data
• Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with The US healthcare client and Health IT projects
• Experience with UI/UX tools and framework.
