Work with cross-functional teams in engineering, design, marketing, and sales to define product requirements, prioritize features, and propel the product roadmap forward. With your technical expertise and strategic vision, ensure our offerings evolve to meet the dynamic needs of our sales team and customers.Responsibilities:Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with company goals, finding opportunities for innovation in sales processes.Requirement Gathering and Prioritization: Work closely with collaborators to collect and prioritize product requirements based on customer feedback business goal. Translate goals into actionable product features.Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical liaison between product management, engineering, and other teams, providing guidance on technical feasibility and implementation strategies.Release Planning and Execution: Coordinate with engineering and QA teams to plan and implement product releases. Monitor progress and mitigate risks.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage customers through interviews, surveys, and user testing to collect feedback. Advocate for customer needs in product decision-making.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment. Communicate product updates and priorities regularly.Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.• 3-5 years of experience in technical product management, ideally in B2B SaaS.• Understanding of software development methodologies, technical architectures, and cloud computing.• Experience with platform configuration technologies like Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Gainsight for sales/Customer success are a plus• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Track record of driving product innovation and successful product launches.• Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.• Passion for technology and a customer-centric mindset.Splunk is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt Splunk, we believe creating a culture of belonging isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s also the smart thing. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.Benefits are an important part of Splunk's Total Rewards package.
