Content Management Specialist (CMS)

Squadio is a Global Remote-first IT service provider headquartered in Riyadh KSA with Delivery Centers in Egypt and KSA. We were founded in 2011 in Riyadh, KSA, as an app development company (previously Ibtikar technologies) successfully pivoted our model to support the growing need of startups and companies seeking to hire and manage their own engineering team remotely with engineers vetted by Squadio’s talent community.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Content Management System (CMS) Specialist/Manager to join one of our Key-Accounts to oversee content creation, development, and management strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CMS platforms, strong technical skills, and an eye for detail, ensuring that our website and digital content are current, relevant, and optimized for user engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Content Management: Manage the lifecycle of digital content including planning, creation, editing, publishing, and archiving across various platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla).

- CMS Administration: Administer and optimize the CMS, ensuring user roles and permissions are properly configured and maintained.

- Content Strategy: Develop and implement content strategies that align with business goals and enhance user experience, SEO, and engagement.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, IT, and external vendors to ensure cohesive content management processes.

- Quality Assurance: Review and edit content for accuracy, quality, consistency, and brand standards. Ensure all content adheres to best practices for accessibility and SEO.

- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, user behavior, and content engagement. Utilize data insights to make informed recommendations for improvement.

- Training & Support: Provide training and support for staff on CMS best practices and usage, encouraging team members to contribute effectively to content management.

- Content Governance: Develop and maintain content governance policies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications , Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 5 years of experience in CMS management or a similar role.

- Proficient in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, etc.) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.).

- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.

- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) for tracking content performance.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with content migration and digital asset management.

- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and web design.

- Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite.

- Certification or training in content management, SEO, or digital marketing.
