Quality Assurance Specialist

We are hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the accuracy and completeness of our client’s job submission files. This individual will work closely with account management, credit, and revenue cycle management teams to review property insurance claim documentation and ensure compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the roofing and restoration industry, as well as experience in claims documentation analysis and insurance supplement writing.

What you’ll do

  • Monitor Job Submissions: Oversee incoming claims, supplements, scopes of loss, and retail jobs for quality assurance.
  • Claim Documentation Analysis: Review property insurance claim documentation, including estimates, photos, and other supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Document Review: Analyze job contracts, line item exclusions, upgrades, supplements, and payment arrangements, including prior payments and deductibles.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Maintain compliance with company procedures, insurance regulations, and industry best practices while conducting quality assurance reviews of claim documentation.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in claim documentation and escalate issues as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including account management, credit, and revenue cycle management, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.

Who you are

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the property insurance industry, with a focus on claims documentation analysis and insurance supplement writing.
  • You have a solid understanding of policy contracts, insurance coverages, and claim-related statutes and regulations.
  • You are proficient in Xactimate, XactAnalysis, and XactContents software, with experience in generating estimates and writing supplements (preferred).
  • You have strong math skills, including the ability to perform calculations involving whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • You are familiar with tools like HubSpot, Google Suite, Zoom, and Slack.
  • You have experience in the roofing, restoration, or construction industry (preferred).
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
