Overview
As an Sr. Associate, Creative Strategy you will help ideate, position, and package best in class programs for Morning Brew with a focus on our consumer clients (retail, auto, liquor, travel, CPG, QSR, etc). The ideal candidate for this role will be a one-of-a-kind creative thinker, passionate about storytelling for advertisers across all content platforms, and have experience with financial services. Not only do you love finding good stories, but you love backing them up with data and insights for a comprehensive campaign strategy. This position will report to the Associate Director of Creative Strategy.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with sales, account services, product, editorial, analytics, and other members of the Morning Brew Creative Studio to:
• Ideate content solutions that reflect the POV of Morning Brew editorial
• Create compelling narratives across platforms — placements, editorial, podcast, experiential, social, etc
• Build and pitch proposals that solve client objectives through visual storytelling
• Identify new ways to solve client challenges with creative solutions
• Innovate and create at the speed of our fast-paced culture
- Bring institutional knowledge of consumer-goods industry to industry-specific RFPs. Stay up to date on industry trends and client news.
- Maintain and build on our library of marketing collateral, including media kits, case studies, one-pagers and more.
- Facilitate brainstorm meetings, downloads, and cross-functional meetings for multiple teams.
- Create comprehensive sales collateral for previous campaigns, off-the-shelf ideas, and built-if-sold tentpole campaigns.
- Identify proactive opportunities that are specific to our consumer clients
- Work with the Associate to delegate workload on larger projects and proposals.
- Build on a deep curiosity and interest in finding new ways to talk to business decision makers about their needs at work and everywhere else.
What makes you qualified:
- 2-4 years experience at a digital publisher or agency
- Strong foundation in brand strategy and creative thinking
- Award-worthy writing and editing skills
- Grade-A presentation chops
- Wordnik in a meme world
- A visual eye that drops jaws and stops thumbs
- Deadline-oriented project management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines
- Passion for all Morning Brew editorial brands
- A personal philosophy of, “Yes, we’ll figure it out.”
- Desire to seek out diverse and unique POVs that differ from your own
