Sr Editor, Money With Katie

About the role:

Money with Katie is a blog, podcast, and brand that makes personal finance content approachable (and maybe a little raunchy). Katie reaches 60,000 “Rich Girls” each month through her blog, newsletter, social media accounts, podcast and growing video inventory. Katie has an exponentially growing audience and is looking for a talented, hard-working, organized and creative Senior Editor to partner and manage her editorial work and audience expansion efforts.

The right candidate has deep editorial and operational experience. He or she has written/produced and/or edited compelling content in a range of formats (articles, video, audio, social). The Senior Editor will be a master of honing the voice of Katie’s brand and translating that voice into incredible stories that educate and entertain the audience about personal finance, money management and achieving financial freedom. 

What you'll do:

You’re the ideal candidate if you know how to tell a story. You intuitively understand how to craft a narrative and, more importantly, know how to make it feel native to any given platform. You should have solid experience managing content creation or production across multiple platforms (especially social media). Familiarity with programs like Photoshop, Canva, Premier, Pro Tools/Audition are not required, but they're certainly a plus. 

The role is remote-friendly and best suited to a strong collaborator who's just as comfortable working independently.
