Sr Financial Analyst

Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst works with management to prepare long-term financial forecasts and analyzing competitor and market data. This individual also works closely with the Commercial Operations team in analyzing and quantifying business growth opportunities. Prepares analysis and evaluations of the Company's operating results; and prepares short- and long term forecasts of aspects of the Company's operations, including operating and capital budgets. Role requires significant interaction with operating businesses often at a senior level. This position is responsible for financial modeling and profitability analysis of opportunities.


Primary Statement of Duties:

  • Ensures effective understanding, analysis, and reporting of key metrics such as price, productivity, inflation; coordinates related activities
  • Provides variance analysis and interpretation of the company's actual and forecasted results
  • Drives process improvements and projects as identified; support special review
  • Works with Finance Managers and business leaders to understand opportunities, drive objectives and address risks
  • Focused on Sales and Contribution Margin analysis broken down by product and customer
  • Drive special projects focused on process improvement by coordinating cross functional teams and effectively transitioning old processes
  • Perform market research to identify potential business growth opportunities
  • Evaluate current and proposed financial plans and policies and recommends changes that will accrue to the organization's profitability
  • Responsible for the companies long term financial outlook, ensuring accuracy with current sales order backlog and future business opportunities across all lines of business
  • Supports and adheres to Company’s core values.
  • Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.
  • Supports and adheres to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.
  • Represents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers.

Education and Experience:

Level of Education: Bachelors Degree

Years of Experience: 5+ to 7 Years


Required Education/Experience:

BS / BA in Finance, Business or Accounting
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced in Excel
4+ years of relevant business experience
Prior experience with financial systems
Prior Finance experience particularly in complex financial modeling
Prior market research experience
SAP and/or TM1 Experience preferred but not required

Pay is in the range of $73,031 - $112,955 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
