We are looking to add a Senior Specialist to our Portfolio Management Team. In this role, You will ensure the IT project and program portfolio is managed according to defined Governance and Portfolio Management Processes. You will be responsible for the portfolio end-to-end process from ideation to benefits realization, enabling categorization of initiatives against the GBS (Global Business Services) layer and prioritization of initiatives to establish an optimal mix and sequence of projects and programs. You will oversee the balance of use of resources across projects and non-project work. You will also be ensuring decision makers get the information they need to drive key initiatives and support optimization of the value and benefit generated by the portfolio.

  • Deliver the portfolio by working closely with the relevant IT and Business stakeholders to analyze specificities and support needs.
  • Work with the senior portfolio leaders, IT leaders, program/project managers to understand the resource needs of each project/program (i.e.: skills, expertise, timing) and coordinate resolution of resource conflicts.
  • Maintain the integrity of globally prioritized projects in line with both the group and market strategies. Ensuring these can be planned, supported, and executed in line with GBS standard Project Portfolio Management Practices.
  • Balance needs of ongoing processes (functional / operational) with resources to support the programs/projects in the portfolio based on changing business/functional needs, resource capacity constraints, risk exposure, and interdependencies; provide information on any constraints that may affect portfolio planning and execution.
  • Drive flawless execution of relevant segment of the portfolio by being responsible for GBS Portfolio delivery metrics including successful analysis and management of financials, schedule, resources, and benefits realization.
  • Assesses current and planned projects/programs on a routine basis to analyze the delivery risk according to commitment and strategy and recommend actions for mitigation.
  • Support strategic decision by providing full visibility via solid and regular reporting on the actual and detailed status of Implementation Programs.
  • Implement relevant methods, processes, and tools, according to GBS standards and processes.


REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years of experience in Portfolio or Program Management
  • 3+ years of experience with end-to-end processes of related to strategic planning, value based project prioritization, business case management, resource capacity management or financial planning
  • 1+ years of experience managing senior manager stakeholders
