Summary:
The Senior AP Specialist maintains a solid foundation of bookkeeping and accounting techniques. This role is responsible for performing complex tasks such as leading problem resolution and understanding system functionality. This role will be responsible for but not limited to statement reviews, vendor compliance, large projects with vendors and/or colleagues, Purchase Order credit processing and training fellow colleagues.
Statement review and resolution.- Manual entry processing in PeopleSoft
- Managing error queues.
- Strong knowledge of other AP Processes.
- Provide mentorship to other AP Specialist.
- Be able to handle complex project management.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field is required.
High School Diploma with two years of Accounts Payable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Experience
Two years of Accounts Payable experience is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Not Required
