Overview:
THE ROLE:
Under the direction of the Director, Logistics Operations, will process, match, G/L code, and verify extensions on all Transportation related invoices prior to sending invoices for payment to HIL A/P and perform invoice entry for HIAI invoices and send to HIAI A/P department for further processing and payment. Will also create and maintain various department reports and provide back up for the Transportation Operations Analyst’s and Transportation Coordinator’s as needed.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

Process, match, G/L code, and verify extensions of all freight and transportation related invoices for the department (domestic, export, and import), including foreign to foreign invoices for APAC shipments, prior to sending invoices HIL A/P department, and entering HIAI invoices in the A/P system and sending to HIAI A/P for further processing.

G/L code FedEx invoice spreadsheets sent from Time to Track on a weekly basis to ensure timely payment of invoices.

Scan invoices using Filenet and linking into Oracle.

Maintain the monthly vendor statements for all transportation service providers (TSP’s).

Route New Vendor Forms (NVF) to new suppliers for completion and send final document for Transportation Management approval before forwarding to Vendor Management (VMD) team.

Create various department reports as required and provide backup assistance to the Transportation Operations Analyst’s and Coordinator’s as needed.

5 years’ experience in Accounting with knowledge of automated accounting systems.

Extensive experience using Oracle 11i or a similar system.

High School Diploma.
