Sr. Director of Information Technology

Serving as the most senior leader of the information technology team and reporting to the COO, the Senior Director of Information Technology (Sr. Director of IT) leads Sonny's Franchise Company's IT department in the areas of development, security, infrastructure, business intelligence, and systems support.

The Senior Director of IT oversees the technology used to support all aspects of the Company's business, including its restaurant units, franchisees, operations, and corporate office. This role collaborates with senior leaders, franchisees, and their leadership teams as a strategic partner to provide in-depth technical expertise in support of business decisions, all while leading an amazing IT team at Sonny's Franchise Company located in Winter Park, FL. This position is responsible for driving implementation of best technology practices and optimizing tech infrastructure for the best guest and team member experience.

The Senior Director of IT collaborates and partners with team members at different levels including senior leaders, franchisees, and restaurant managers and must be an outstanding communicator in both oral and written forms, conveying technically complex information and concepts in easily understood terms, and translating strategy into operational activities. The Senior Director of IT will think strategically, critically, and creatively to present optimal solutions across the Company's technology stack, as well as roll up his/her sleeves and lead day-to-day IT activities through an IT team. He/she must have an extreme sense of urgency to execute across the brand and must possess deep technical expertise and also be a leader and developer of IT talent for the Company.
