Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
We are searching for an experienced Executive Assistant who is high energy and thrives in an ever-changing business environment. This role will partner with other executive assistants and interact with various levels of management, customers and employees, assisting with managing day to day priorities. The environment is fast paced, dynamic, and collaborative. In addition to being the EA for our EVP & CFO, the incumbent will be supporting the Investor Relations team and all activities of the Investor Relations department, including quarterly earnings, participation in preparation of analyst and investor meetings and administrative support.
THE PERSON:
The ideal Executive Assistant will have significant experience navigating a complex C-Suite environment and be comfortable interacting with employees of all levels. To be successful, you will need strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to gather information and make decisions independently. Being pro-active and anticipating the needs of the executive is critical as you prioritize time, schedules, inquiries, and information.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide administrative support to the CFO as well as the investor relations function, including quarterly earnings calls, conferences, roadshows, analyst days, and other investor events.

Manage the coordination for CFO related and investor meetings including travel, scheduling, etc. for outbound and inbound investor marketing.

Maintain the department budget and manages contracts, purchase orders and invoices for department vendors, and other administrative tasks associated with vendor management, as relating to the investor relations function.

Manage AMD Investor Relations email and voicemail inboxes for inquiries.

Maintain and protect highly confidential corporate information and communicates information within the scope of authority.

Pro-actively manage an extremely fluid and dynamic schedule of appointments and meetings (determining prep schedules, calendar and travel efficiencies, coordinating domestic and international travel, expense reports, etc.

Redirect inquiries and problems to staff members for response and resolution as necessary

Review and answer mail and inquiries and determine if executive action is required

Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the SVP's office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff

Exercise judgment and initiative with high degree of flexibility

Obtain, assemble and analyze information and data from a wide variety of sources in order to prepare reports, agendas and correspondence
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate and completion of business/secretarial school or equivalent experience

Ability to use a variety of complex office automation tools and software, including proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint

Qualifications:
At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
