About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead the Medical Products Division Financial Planning Processes.

This position offers multiple work arrangements: on-site at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona, hybrid or fully remote work allowed in most locations within the United States, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.*

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual MPD Financial Planning process for the Medical Division, as well as the divisional consolidation of business/functional/regional financial plans
  • Provide the strategic vision for financial planning and champion the objectives and process with the divisional finance team and the broad divisional leadership team
  • Collaborate with the Business Execution Team to keep financial planning aligned with the goals and timing of internal business processes
  • Collaborate with FP&A team to run monthly and quarterly execution-to-plan processes
  • Lead efforts to analyze historical forecasts to help identify process and methodology changes to increase future plan accuracy
  • Provide divisional leadership team timely and accurate updates on financial planning status and results, including analysis on how financial plans compare to financial goals, historical performance and external benchmarks
  • Provide financial consulting and planning support to the divisional leadership team including preparing Medical Division presentations, analysis of alignment of financial resources to strategic objectives, and developing insights on improving the efficiency on resource deployment
  • Responsible for the Financial Planning team performance, including team communication, engagement, proficiency and effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business
  • Minimum of 10 years of financial analysis experience; preferably in a global manufacturing environment with responsibilities that include analysis, reporting and forecasting
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of accounting concepts (GAAP and/or IFRS)
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Advanced Proficiency in COGNOS, TM1, or similar financial system tools
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and integrate across project, functional, and business leadership teams
  • Willingness and ability to learn and build a network of associates across the division and Enterprise
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration
  • Experience with ERP systems
