What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Supply Chain Managment team in El Paso, TX. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.

What you will be doing:

• Oversees multiple Managers and Facility Managers within Operations/Distribution whose functions may include but are not limited to, Core groups. warehousing, sequencing, rework, parts control, transportation, and customer service.

• Manages assigned groups and projects to meet established targets
• Defines department(s) goals and objectives
• Prepares associate evaluations
• Prepares reports as required by Executive Management
• Reviews metrics to benchmark and improve overall performance
• Tracks operational expenses for multiple Distribution Centers
• Prepares and maintains annual budgets
• Communicates with Customers both internal and external to develop, maintain and improve relationships
• Evaluates current processes, procedures, and systems to identify areas for improvement
• Communicates to all Distribution Centers for systematic and process-related failures and best practices
• Ensures effective implementation of customer-specific requirements
• Plans, strategizes, and organizes the direction of YNA Distribution Centers for current operations and future business requirements
• Plans and facilitates building improvements and configuration

• Assures that corporate and departmental goals and objectives are met
• Supports corporate policies and departmental policies
• Understands and supports EMS/QMS policies and procedures
• Supports health and safety policies
• Associate must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions
• Knowledge and application of the following systems:
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • PKMS
  • GQRS
  • ARE/ARS
  • JDE
  • TMS
  • Covisint
  • SMART
  • DDL
  
  

What you will bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 7 years of Warehouse leadership experience in lieu of a degree
• Forklift Certification Requirement: Cherry Picker and Sit Down
• Language: English, Spanish not necessary but would be a plus
• High energy, positive attitude, customer service and continuous improvement mindset, and team spirit
• Must be able to be 24/7 on-call and work overtime as needed
• Ability to lift-up to 40 LBS
• Travel as needed
