Sr. Marketing Web Developer

23andMe's Growth Marketing team is looking to hire a Sr. Marketing Web/Email Developer to help create and grow applications that support our eCommerce, Email and SEO Marketing functions. Some of your responsibilities will encompass the following: You will build and streamline our email templates to support customer communications, improve our websites ranking with search engines via implementation of technical SEO enhancements, play an integral role in building and operating a new content management system and lead the execution of complex multivariate tests to drive growth in our key business metrics.

What You'll Do

• Develop optimized, cross-platform, mobile friendly front-end code
• Convert mockups and graphics to functional layouts and pages
• Implement A/B experiments to drive key business metrics and contribute to the continuing improvement of the site experience.
• Manage email development activities including translation of creative design into new campaign templates, testing, tagging and updating of one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic email campaigns.
• Develop emails using HTML and CSS, ensuring rendering across all ESPs and devices.
• Ensure industry best practices are implemented for all email campaigns.
• Launch and maintain a new content management system for our website to enable non-technical personnel to make more rapid updates.
• Work on technical enhancements to continuously improve our site performance for SEO ranking.

What You'll Bring

• 8+ years experience in front-end web or email development with expertise in HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• Experience in marketing funnel optimization
• Experience in SEO optimization
• React knowledge is also encouraged.
• Experienced in responsive email design and knowledge of scripting in email.
• Experience with A/B testing and optimization QA processes
• Ability to convert design mockups into HTML code.
• Strong debugging and quality assurance skills
