Sr. Test Engineer

The Sr. Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring production quality and readiness for all product releases. The role is responsible for establishing and executing processes which ensure applications are free of defects. Finding and communicating defects prior to release is the primary objective of the position.
Additional job functions include creating and executing manual test plans, documenting defects, and exploratory testing. Various types of testing are utilized to maintain a high-quality standard: functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design, develop and execute system test plans, suites and test cases for our mobile applications and supporting infrastructure
• Write clearly communicated and reproducible defects to help developers reproduce and fix issues
• Work as a part of DevOps team to coordinate and deploy product and configuration changes to application test and production environments
• Advocate for fixing of defects before adding new features
• Lead testing effort and assist developers in writing and running their own tests, encouraging testing to become everyone's responsibility
• Analyze and communicate test results to stakeholders and the development team
• Resolve production issues by troubleshooting and recreating production issues

• Brokerage/trading domain knowledge and experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 3-5+ years of experience in Software Testing

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficient in working with mobile applications
• Well-versed in the nuances of both iOS and Android ecosystems
• Proficiency in utilizing mobile testing tools such as Charles, Appium, Maestro, or XCUITest
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
• Familiarity with GraphQL and/or REST APIs is a plus

• Pay Range (US) $100-130,000 (Countries outside of the US have differing ranges in accordance with local labor markets)
