SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (hybrid) who will be responsible for supporting corporate supply chain activities and supplier performance that support operational efficiency in Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will support the corporate manufacturing and development operations. Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, motivated, work well with a team, and be able to manage supplier relationships. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Management.
What You’ll Do
- Ability to interface with different US Government systems
- Ability to process new suppliers via standard onboarding procedures
- Ability to accurately record information from one database into another
- Ability to follow up and stay organized with tasks
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain or Manufacturing with 0+ years of experience in procurement activities, manufacturing or supply chain or an Associates Degree and 2+ years of experience. Any equivalent combination of experience, training, and education will be considered.
- Ability to work cross functionality to achieve a common goal
- Working knowledge of basic purchasing procedures, a plus
- Understanding of MS office products is a must with strong MS excel and MS queries knowledge
- Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint a plus
- Basic knowledge of Supply Chain activities including sourcing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task
- Able to successfully communicate in person and on the phone with suppliers and internal customers

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $50,000 - $58,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
