As a Design Support Specialist, at SRC, Inc., you will play an integral role in the development, operation, and maintenance of additive manufacturing products and its equipment. You will also work closely with Engineers and Technicians on a variety of detailed product measurements, troubleshooting, and testing in support of the vast array of development and production systems.
What You’ll Do
- Translate CAD models into viable additive manufacturing parts (3D print sliced geometries) based on the functional requirements outlined by mechanical engineers
- Operate, maintain, and manage the queue for additive manufacturing equipment
- Perform post additive manufacturing value add operations (threaded insert installation, part finishing)
- Take detailed measurements of systems with portable CMM arms & 3D laser scanners
- Address mechanical problem reports on production programs
What You’ll Bring
- Education: Associate’s degree in a technical specialty such as mechanical technology and 6+ years related experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to balance multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $70,000 to $90,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
