Retail Program/Operations Manager

Job Title: Program Manager / Operations LeadLocation: Beaverton, ORResponsibilities:• GT Title: Product Management - Expert New Title; The nature of the work is focused on collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the successful launch and ongoing management of our products• Work closely with product managers, development teams, marketing, and other stakeholders to align operational processes with overall product strategy and objectives• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocation• Coordinate activities across teams to ensure timely and successful product launches• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency• Implement best practices and workflows to enhance the overall effectiveness of product development and delivery• Foster open communication channels between teams• Ensure transparency regarding project status, milestones, and potential challenges• Facilitate regular status meetings and reporting• Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact product delivery• Collaborate with teams to develop contingency plans and strategies for risk prevention and resolution• Utilize data analytics to assess product performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights for decision-making• Generate regular reports for stakeholders• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes throughout the product lifecycle• Collaborate with testing teams to ensure that products meet established quality standards• Work with customer support teams to gather and analyze customer feedback• Integrate customer insights into product operations to drive improvements and enhancements• Manage relationships with external suppliers and vendors involved in the product development process• Ensure that external partners align with project timelines and quality expectations• Optimize resource allocation and utilization• Collaborate with teams to ensure that personnel and tools are effectively deployed to meet project goals• Work with finance teams to manage project budgets• Monitor spending, track expenses, and provide financial updates to stakeholders• Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the product operations domain• Encourage feedback, innovation, and the implementation of lessons learned from previous projects.• Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters + 4 yrs; Associates degree + 6 yrs; High School + 7 yrs.Experience/Minimum Requirements:• 5+ years in Sr. Lead or Principal level in Functional Retail or Retail Program Management/Operations.• Must align to client’s 4/1 work week, working Monday-Thursday at WHQ Beaverton-based campus, Friday option to work from home.• Stores Marketing, Retail Brand, Retail Design Operations or Design Studio Management experience preferred.• Thorough understanding of common construction, architectural, and fixture vendor roles & responsibilities.• Experience managing physical buildouts preferred, with background and experience in design, fabrication and installation of retail elements• Collaboration and relationship management• Experience driving clarity across partners and in a matrixed or highly cross-functional environment• Passion for consumer experience, inquisitive nature and retail industry knowledge• Strategic thinking - ability to connect matrixed information against a common goal• Ability to track and understand across multiple functional deliverables• Driver/solutions-oriented mentality with comfort and experience leading meetings and strategy facilitation (support workshop development and planning)• Highly organized• Keynote and presentation experience; ability to pull ideastogether in a compelling way• Ability to develop,socialize and storytell ideas, plans and strategiesWith over 26 years of industry experience, SSi People has built its reputation and expertise on putting people first.
