Job Title: WW and US Medical Communications ManagerLocation: RemoteJob Description• We are seeking a seasoned Medical Communications professional to join our team. The primary role of the Medical Communications Manager is to develop and implement comprehensive, globally aligned strategic medical publications and content plans. This role is pivotal in supporting the effective communication of data and product launches for our client’s medicines.Key Responsibilities• Analyze and interpret scientific data to develop comprehensive, balanced, and credible documents that comply with applicable laws and regulations.• Lead the development of medical communications, ensuring timely journal submissions, publications, and congress presentations.• Comply with established good publication practices to execute the publication plan.• Manage multiple projects, providing solutions to complex problems, and delivering complete and accurate information within deadlines.• Serve as a subject matter expert to internal audiences related to communication landscape, publication and scientific content planning, and data disclosure.• Work with cross-functional teams on a worldwide level to ensure consistent messaging and communication of medical information and key messages.Skills Required• PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent.• Minimum of 3-4 years of Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry experience with a focus on medical communications.• Ability to manage various projects, solve problems, deliver on commitments, and work with multidisciplinary teams.• Experience leading cross-functional, cross-cultural project teams, and collaborating across multiple markets and global geographies.• Experience leading medical communications across all phases of drug development and commercialization.• Ability to analyze and interpret trial data.Preferred Skills• Experience in solid tumor oncology.• In-depth knowledge of Good Publication Practices and guidance (GPP, ICMJE), Sunshine Act, Pharma Code of Conduct, and other guidance related to post-marketing practices and scientific data communication.• Understanding of clinical trial design and execution, statistical methods, and clinical trial data reporting requirements.• Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications, and familiarity with publication management tool (DataVision).About SSi PeopleWith over 25 years of industry experience, SSi People has built its reputation and expertise on putting people first.
