Remote Contractor- Senior Software Development Engineer focused on Testing

We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Software Development Engineer with expertise and experience in Testing. We are looking to hire a contractor who can deliver software solutions that enable and empower our client to manage their business processes most effectively and efficiently. 

You’ll ensure these custom solutions are designed, built, and implemented correctly. If you are ready to make a difference, here is what you’d be doing as a Senior Software Development Engineer focused on Testing:

• Design, build, and implement automated test frameworks and test cases to support high-quality and efficient development and test cycles
• Promote best practices in code health, testability, and maintainability
• Work with members of the development and validation teams to determine the best areas of the application to automate
• Implement automation regression suites
• Perform exploratory testing when needed 
• Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution

Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, Cypress, Kubernetes, GitHub,

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience 
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Experience in automation testing and/or software development
• Experience with black-and-white box testing
• Experience with automation platforms like Selenium or Cypress
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience in testing web applications and APIs
• Experience in integration testing, contract testing, test case development, and test planning
• Strong analytical, organizational, time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
