Director, Global Pricing & Deal Management

We are looking for a Director, Global Pricing & Deal Management to support our Commercial organization, reporting directly to the Vice President of Commercial Strategy & Operations. In this role, you will partner closely with the executive team and stakeholders across the organization to define critical pricing and deal management strategies that will help set the long-term direction of the business. This leader will be responsible for keeping a pulse on the business in order to identify monetization opportunities and drive change by working closely with cross-functional partners across Legal, Finance, Product and Sales. They will work to create processes and infrastructure to enable efficient growth while remaining agile enough to seize high value opportunities and respond to a dynamic market.


The ideal candidate is strategic, a self-starter, driven, adaptable, highly organized, analytical, and has a strong eye for detail. Experience leading organizations through a rapid growth/maturation phase and building operational processes at scale will be critical to the success of this role.

What you'll be doing:
  • Conduct product, customer, competitive, and financial research to develop insights and drive packaging and pricing recommendations to execution.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, ELT, Legal, and Ops teams to structure deals that align with business objectives, maximize profitability and ensure StackAdapt’s interests are protected.
  • Lead contract reviews in partnership with the Legal team to identify potential risks, opportunities, & needs.
  • Provide financial modeling and analysis as needed to support pricing, discount, and go-to-market investment decisions.
  • Enhance, track and report deal metrics and make recommendations to improve functional & financial performance.
  • Implement tools and technologies to streamline deal management and reporting, including the deal approval process.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Deal Desk team.
  • Independently problem solve, coach the team to navigate against new variables in the process and actively manage workload across the team.


What you’ll bring to the table:
  • 8+ years of experience in Deal Desk and/or experience in strategy consulting, product strategy or pricing, ideally in AdTech organizations.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple high priority and time sensitive projects and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, deep intellectual curiosity, and the ability to communicate structured thinking effectively.
  • Be a self-starter who can drive work from idea, to analysis, to recommendation, to implementation.
  • Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Experience with Sales Platforms, Technologies and Systems (Salesforce, ThoughtSpot, Sage Intacct, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Google suite.
