As a People and Compliance Partner, you'll impact the success of our business by enabling managers, directors, VPs, and employees alike to build careers that fulfill their passions and achieve their aspirations. We develop trust, commitment, and buy-in with the leaders in our business units, and our relationships with our stakeholders are exceptional.
For the compliance portion, you will work across our company to help our management and staff understand compliance requirements and will be a resource to implement improvement plans.
StackAdapt is a remote-first company. We are open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S. who can work Eastern Standard Time hours for this position.

What you'll be doing:
• Collaborate and build trusted relationships with leadership to understand their priorities and align talent strategy with business strategy to deliver business goals through our biggest asset, our people!
• Advise and develop strategies related to compensation practices, employee relations, performance management, career development, and talent retention.
• Collaborate with People and cross-functional teams (Talent, Learning and Development, DEIB, People Operations, Legal, etc.) to develop, implement and promote initiatives that improve employee experience and engagement.
• Recommend, develop, and operationalize best practices and processes required to scale our business.
• Lead through influence: Coach leaders to embrace courageous conversations necessary to move the business forward.
• Analyze and interpret data to develop informed strategies, solutions, people programs, and policies.
• Provide guidance and recommend solutions to complex employee relations matters.
• Serve as a resource for employees when navigating challenging personal or professional issues that impact their work experience.
• Auditing the organization to check compliance with relevant legislation and reporting on compliance status
• Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.
• Advising departmental heads on ongoing compliance improvement
What you bring to the table:
• At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources, the regulatory or compliance field
• Expert knowledge of legislation and regulations for USA + familiarization with Canadian laws.
• Previous experience in business partnership/HR generalist role, supporting at least 1 team/department independently.
• Industry-specific knowledge is preferred but not required.
