About the role
Rokt is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This role is based in our New York office.
The Staff Accountant will operate as part of a team responsible for managing the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function across all our global entities. It is a hands-on role that requires a motivated individual interested in being part of a fast paced, evolving Finance & Accounting team. You must also have a natural desire to identify improvement opportunities and take on new challenges as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Operate as part of a team to manage Rokt’s global Accounts Receivable function
- Perform end-to-end process including invoicing, customer account management, payment reconciling and collections
- Monitor, analyze and create relevant AR reporting
- Liaise with the Business Development and Customer Success teams on customer queries, including investigating and resolving items associated with customer accounts
- Liaise and build strong relationships with Rokt’s clients
- Assist in the development and implementation of scalable AR accounting processes globally
- Identify opportunities and implement change for automation and process optimization, working cross functionally with various teams as needed
- Support Rokt’s IPO readiness efforts
Requirements
- 1+ year of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field of study
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with and knowledge of Workday or similar ERP desired
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven and changing environment with minimal daily oversight
